We believe 3D applications hold much promise for ship's interiors design. Due to very high cost of the ship's rooms, a designer is constrained with fear of a wrong solution, so all ships' interiors look fairly alike.3D can partially relieve them of these fears. And what is the price of 3d compared to that of the ship?
Five years ago we made 3D-model of the yacht with two control posts, one of which is located inside. The existing duralumin hull was made in 3D according to the design drawings. All the yachts appurtenances were made according to booklets and drawings of the relevant suppliers, so at the moment, the 3d base includes actual ship's chairs, lights, sanitary units, portholes, anchor, mooring accessories, microwave oven, etc.
3D work took 28 days.
We love sea and ships, particularly old ships, or trawlers: We would be honoured to contribute in designing of 'Athena' schooner or something else like that...
